It took under seven weeks to shoot Assassination Tango, but Robert Duvall's latest love child was twelve years in the making. The film opens in selected theaters on March 28. Reelwriter.net spoke with Duvall about his experience writing, directing and acting in the picture. "To get independent projects done out of the mainstream is very, very difficult," says Duvall. "I did my own film The Apostle out of my own money, but Coppola did bite on this."
